Our University successfully held the International Conference on Smart Energy

On September 17-18, the 2022 International Conference on Smart Energy (ICSNRG2022) was held online. Due to the impact of the COVID-19, the meeting was broadcast online through the ZOOM conference platform. Experts and scholars from Australia, France, the Netherlands, the United States, the United Kingdom and China gathered online to exchange hot issues in smart energy, low carbon communities, renewable energy and storage and related AI applications, and share cutting-edge knowledge and experience in research and practice.

This international conference was jointly organized by Shanghai University of Engineering and Technology, Nan'ao University and Shanghai University of Technology, and our university is the Chinese sponsor. Professor Wang Yansong, Vice President of Shanghai University of Engineering and Technology, Yu Rong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, Fang Yu, Dean, He Tao, Vice Dean, Professor Deng Shengxiang, doctoral supervisor of Shanghai University of Engineering and Technology, Professor David Ness, Professor Ke Xing, international peers and paper authors of the University of South Australia, attended the meeting.

Professor Wang Yansong, Vice President of Shanghai University of Engineering and Technology, delivered an opening speech for the meeting. He warmly welcomed the guests and briefly introduced the achievements of our school in the fields of smart energy, low-carbon community and renewable energy. He pointed out the application and important role of smart energy in the future society, and hoped that all participants would gain something and make new progress in their professional research fields.

The conference was hosted by Kevin Huang, a professor from the University of South Australia in Australia. Professor David Ness, Ke Xing and Deng Shengxiang from the University of South Australia in Australia and Shanghai University of Engineering and Technology made keynote reports, introducing their latest research achievements in the fields of big data, intelligent algorithms in energy systems, sustainable energy and low-carbon life, respectively.

The successful holding of this international conference forum has built a research, exchange and publicity platform for our school and all participants, promoted academic cooperation and exchanges in the fields of smart energy, low-carbon communities, renewable energy and storage, and related artificial intelligence (AI) applications at home and abroad, and played a positive role in promoting postgraduate innovation awareness and improving the quality of postgraduate training.
